Booking Conditions - Courses and Tuition
- A deposit of £20.00 per person is required to secure a booking,
- The balance of the course fee is due 30 days before the start date,
- If you cancel a booking more than 30 days before the start date, the course fee (less the deposit) will be refunded. No refund is made when cancellation is less than 30 days before the course starts. You are advised to take out your own insurance to cover cancellation costs,
- If weather conditions, or other factors, prevent sailing taking place, we will either provide shore based teaching, or arrange an alternative date,
- In the event of cancellation, or postponement of a session by us, tuition fees will not be refunded, but an alternative date will be offered, or a credit note issued,
- Shell Bay Sailing does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury suffered by persons and/or their property arising out of sailing and related activities,
- We provide buoyancy aids and spray-tops are available if required. It is your responsibility to bring suitable clothing, including footwear and we reserve the right to refuse access to practical sessions if students are not adequately prepared. Please contact us if you need advice on what to bring.
How to Make a Booking:
- Contact us to check availability and discuss your requirements,
- Download the required booking form by clicking on the 'download' link in the table below,
- Either type into the Word form on screen and then print it, or print either format out first and then fill the details by hand,
- Send the completed form, together with a deposit, to Shell Bay Sailing at the address on the 'Contact Us' page.
Please make cheques payable to 'Shell Bay Sailing Centre'. We also accept payment by bank transfer and Paypal, so please contact us for details.
