Courses for adults and older teenagers
As a small family run establishment, we are able to arrange sailing courses at times to suit you. This could be one or more weekends, or a series of day or half day sessions spread over a longer period. Please contact us to discuss dates.
Recreational Sailing
These sessions are an opportunity to sail regularly and consolidate your skills, with some support and coaching. They are held each Sunday morning 10:30 to 12:30hrs. Pre-booking is necessary, and discounts are available if you book 6 sessions in advance.
Courses for Junior Sailors
These are available during the May half term holiday, and throughout July and August. The courses comprise 5 half day sessions (5 mornings or 5 afternoons) Monday to Friday. For groups of 4 or more students we can arrange courses at different times (eg a 2 or 3 day course) – please contact us with your requirements.
Saturday Club
We run a junior sailing club on Saturday mornings 10:00 to 12:00hrs. This is for all levels of ability and ages 8 to 16 yrs. Pre-booking is necessary, and discount pricing is on offer if you book 6 sessions in advance.
Session Times
Unless otherwise stated, session times are 09:30hrs to 12:30hrs, and 13:00hrs to 16:00hrs.

How to Make a Booking:
- Contact us to check availability and discuss your requirements,
- Download the required booking form by clicking on the 'download' link in the table below,
- Either type into the Word form on screen and then print it, or print either format out first and then fill the details by hand,
- Send the completed form, together with a deposit, to Shell Bay Sailing at the address on the 'Contact Us' page.
